Born in Ermelo in the Mpumalanga province, Bishop MVG Lephoko has walked with God for 3 decades. His teachings and counsel in the ministry, has seen him grow and impacting the lives of multitudes in the province, the nation, continent and worldwide.
His unique style of preaching through his calling as an Evangelist, has surely set him apart from the rest. His work over the years is translated and seen through the spiritual sons he has birthed throughout the years.
Bishop MVG Lephoko founded Church on the Hill 26 years ago at KaNyamazane as a young, passionate graduate from Turfloop, now University of Limpopo. He has since not looked back and has established more than 10 branches under Church on the Hill countrywide.
A big dreamer who is not limited by anything, Bishop MVG Lephoko’s dream to take Church on the Hill across the borders, is testimony through the strategic partnerships already formed in Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Mozambique.
His programme on 1Gospel has drawn fans from all over the continent, who sit and marvel at his astounding and influential teachings of the word of God.
His remarkable gift in music has enabled him to write and produce songs for artists like Kabelo “Bouga Luv” Mabalane, Sindile, Nsika, KayZo and Sabelo Siwela to name a few.
He is a sharp businessman, with high business acumen that birthed his production company Phondogozi Productions. His company has bagged 3 artists from Mpumalanga Province. His aim through the production company is to promote and uplift local and national talent.
Not only is he a music producer extraordinaire, Bishop MVG Lephoko is the founder of MVG Lephoko Ministries, a platform he utilizes to further impact the lives of people even outside the church.
Bishop MVG Lephoko holds a BSc (Edu) degree from the University of Limpopo and a Diploma in Business Management from Damelin College. He was a Lecturer at Mgwenya College of Education before he went into full time ministry in 1996.
He is married to Bishop Mother Ofentse Lephoko, blessed with 3 children, Manqoba, Nqobile and Gideon.
